
Yadkinville Commissioner Scott Winebarger is sworn in to serve in town board.
The city board of Yadkinville has introduced the appointment of Randy Dimmette as Yadkinville Police Chief. Dimmette had been filling the position of performing Police Chief for the reason that retirement of former Chief Daybreak Pardue.
Pardue retired on the finish of October after 32 years of mixed legislation enforcement service to Yadkin County and to the city of Yadkinville.
A choose committee was appointed by the city board to promote and solicit candidates for the place of Police Chief, which was efficiently concluded on Nov. 19 with the unanimous settlement by the committee that Dimmette be really helpful for the place of Police Chief.
The board voted unanimously throughout its Dec. 6 assembly to nominate Dimmette as the brand new Police Chief for Yadkinville. He will probably be formally sworn in on the January 2022 city board assembly.
Mayor Eddie Norman and Commissioners Scott Winebarger and Chris Matthews, who have been reelected final month, have been formally sworn in through the Dec. 6 assembly of the Yadkinville City Board.
